Audit and Accounts Manager – Wakefield

Helen began her professional career with a small firm of chartered accountants in North Yorkshire before joining the audit team at Jolliffe Cork in 2002. Helen was appointed Audit Manager in 2007 and is one of the senior management team. In 2021 following the merger of SMH and Jolliffe Cork she became Audit and Accounts Manager for SMH Jolliffe Cork. Her responsibilities at the practice cover a wide portfolio of clients, with the emphasis on larger private groups, charities alongside technical, regulatory and compliance matters.

Helen has a practical and supportive approach to her client work and is passionate about leading a proficient team of staff in delivering accounts and audit services. With over twenty years of experience working alongside privately owned businesses Helen’s main focus is providing the pragmatic approach to auditing and accounts that everyone wants and deserves.

She is also responsible for providing a key training role within the audit department.
